Sorry I have not been stamping because 2 days before Christmas my sister and my nephews homes were both burnt in our Bushfires. They have not managed to save anything….all their sheds are gone as well. My sister and niece are both scrapbookers and my sister also a stamper…..nothing left. My sister also had a huge porcelain doll collection, she had made and dressed all the dolls, had her masters and doctrine in doll making……it is all gone…..very very sad but they are all okay so we are thankful for that.
Because I am running late with my 12 weeks I have decided to give you all a little present. This is my first attempt at making a tutorial so I hope you all enjoy it and have a great Christmas. I have made lots of these and have them on my Christmas tree. They are also great to put into a card as a little gift for a special person. Have fun with them.
You can find a tutuorial here when I work it out because the 1st attempt never worked…..grrrrr……so email me bevmantle@bigpond.com and I will send you the tutorial on a pdf file.

I have made a Birthday Book Card Organizer and it would be a quick gift for those who have everything kind of present.
This is the new designer paper called “Kaleidascope”
You can see the new mini catlogue online at my stampin up site.
Six pieces of 12 x 12 paper for pages, score at 4 inches along one side and fold up (thus making a pocket) then score down the middle and fold back (thus giving your page a pocket each side). Decorate the bottom of pockets with a number calender and stamp onto it. Simply make a cover of your choice and bind the edge of the pages together. You can decorate as you wish. Here is a close up of the front cover butterfly.
This is the card that I made and put into the first page to show how they fit in. I used the stamp set “Friends 24-7″ and stamped the bird in Chocolate Chip Ink.
There is blog candy to be won by leaving a commentat each of the 30 blogs in this hop you visit on this round, so please join the fun by leaving a comment below and saying a quick hello to me. A friend of mine (Cath) made a card similar to this one and I loved the simplicity of it, yet elegance too, so thought I would make one to share with you, hope you like it.
Stamp Set: Lovely as a Tree
Ink: Close to Cocoa
Card: Very Vanilla, Mellow Moss and Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Cuttlebug embossing folder, gold cord, Red and Silver Kindy Glitz.
Today I made this card for a challenge with some other Stampin’ Up demonstrators.
I used Kraft and Mellow Moss and very vanilla cardstock. Bella Blue designer paper and taffeta kraft ribbon. The lace border punch….I just love this punch. It is so elegant and punches out on card really well, if you would like to order one of these punches just email me at bevmantle@bigpond.com
Thought I would show you a lovely packaging idea today….I am going to do this as a workshop so if you are interested please email me bevmantle@bigpond.com or comment below.
Stamp Set used is the Upsy Daisy set. Not a Christmas stamp set but I decided to make it one by using Christmas colours. Colours are Kiwi Kiss and Red Riding Hood (or you could also use Real Red here). Hope you like it and please leave me a comment below to let me know that you are enjoying the 12 weeks of Christmas…..there is more to come.
Running a bit late….sorry…..here is a card I cased from Alisa, my upline. She made these with the girls at Link n Learn…..so I added my touch and put glitter on my Santa Beard. This santa is made using punches…..even the hat is a square punch cut in half….cool isn’t it?
The colours are Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze with Holiday Treasures designer Paper.
Not too sure about this one…but I was doing a challenge at the same time. It was to use the colours Certainly Celery, Lavender Lace and Bashful Blue and use a border punch like you have never used it before. So here it is. But I might redo this card using some other colours of my choice and show you the difference….so keep an eye out for the next card.
Stamps Used: Winter Post and Occasional Greetings
Card: Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue and Lavender Lace.
Ink: Lavender Lace
Accessories: Scallop Punch and Certainly Celery gros grain ribbon with some diamentes added.
