Today I did a workshop and we did Christmas Cards.
I used Crazy for Christmas stamp set using ruby red, old olive and More mustard colour scheme. I like using the faux stitching as seen on this card.
Then using Holiday Wishes stamp set on traditional Christmas colours.

Last night I had a play with the hostess set of Wee Watercolours. I’ve used this set for the stamps and the backgrounds of the cards. Above I used Almost Amethyst and Lavender Lace and Mellow Moss stamp pads and certainly celery ribbon. Below I used Apricot Appeal with certainly celery and lavender lace. The postage stamps are from Collections. The Happy Birthday is a stamp that we had made up privately.

I had to do a scrapbook workshop at a camp on the weekend and I adapted this page from the Stampin Up catalogue to a 12 x 12 scrap page. I used Little Pieces Stamp Set and Tidy Alphabet Set. The colours are Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Whisper White and Always Artichoke. It was a good one to do as a workshop and each person did different colours…..they all looked great.

Made this card on Tuesday night using Roses in Winter StampinUp set of stamps. Was not pleased with the colours and felt disappointed, but it is now growing on me. You may notice that I stamped my stamp into the main colour and then rolled the edges around into a darker colour. Thought I’d share it with you all anyway.

This is an ATC for a swap that I am in with a group of girls from around Australia. The theme was “Vintage Outrageous Hats”…..I found this a hard one to come up with something, but was quite happy with my end result. I used a mixture of stamp sets (French Script, Art for Life leaf and Oriental set) for this one and used ruby red, old olive and mustard stamp pads. This is my favourite type of stamping to do. I call it “plonk” stamping.

Have just made another card using Gentler Times stamp Set…..I have now purchased my own set of these lovely stamps. Decided to do something simple using just the black stamp pad…..hope you like the effect.
