Priceless Stamp Set

April 23rd, 2008 by Bev

Well I have managed 3 cards for the April challenge….this one was a sketch that I had to follow….used Blue Bayou, Purely Pomegranate, Vanilla and creamy caramel cardstock and inks. I stamped the flourish  and the butterfly into the pomegranate and then dipped each end of the stamp into the blue bayou to get the two tone effect….mmm I like it. Added pre coloured pearls to embellish card.

Artfully Asian Stamp Set

April 23rd, 2008 by Bev

Last night I joined a Cyber challenge and this card was what I came up with. The challenge was a colour one and we had to use Chocolate Chip, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky and Whisper White. I don’t usually use whisper white for my basic card, so this was a different style for me. Sorry it is scanned a little crooked, the card is actually straight. Please let me know you’ve been to my blog and comment below this card.

These are the new rhinestones available from Stampin Up. Once again I have used the Garden Whimsey set of stamps. Used Sage Shadow and Close to Cocoa with vanilla card stock. Made this card for a Bling challenge.

Stars

April 19th, 2008 by Bev

This card was made using the star jumbo wheel and the 2 new star punches. Decided that stars could be used at other times and not just Christmas. Leave a comment below and let me know what you think.

Garden Whimsey

April 17th, 2008 by Bev

My 1st play with products from the new Stampin Up catalogue this year.  Garden Whimsey and background Sanded are the stamps used. Groovy Guava and Purely Pomegranate is the card stock and classic ink colours. These are 2 of the new in colours. The ribbon is also a new one.  I love this set of stamps and I just love that you can use the little pearls to embellish the butterfly.

Ashley’s Birthday

April 16th, 2008 by Bev

Today is my son in law to be’s birthday, he is a mad keen fisherman, so thought this could be his big catch of the day. I cased this card from SCS talented Jerri Kay. Used Stampin Up cheesecloth background stamp with vanilla craft ink. The ribbon was stamped with Black Staz On using the retired “Set Sail” stamp set and the boat stamp is a very old stamp from The Creative stamp collection. Used watercolour paper and the card stock and classic stamp pads are Taken with Teal, More Mustard and Really Rust.  Hope you like it.

Kylie is 21

April 6th, 2008 by Bev

My daughter Kylie has turned 21. I actually made a double 12 x 12 scrap page for everyone to sign at her party instead of having a key.  That way she can put it into her album and keep it forever along with her scrapping. I made her birthday card to match the pages. Hope you like the card.

Wedding Wishes

April 6th, 2008 by Bev

Made this card for Kelly Pages wedding on Saturday. Used Elegant Eggplant cardstock with vellum paper background. The stamp is an old one of my PSX collection.  It really looked great but the scan does not show it well.

Pocket of Fun

April 2nd, 2008 by Bev

This was one of my favourite stamp sets that is now retired, but I still will continue to use it often. Did a copy of this card from Jenn (my sister in law)when she came to visit.
