Brayering

May 25th, 2008 by Bev

Did a small demo using my brayer in a rainbow pad (pumpkin patch) onto whisper white card and used the piece to make up this card. I also stamped onto it using my black staz-on stamp pad. Makes a great way to do a male card. The background was stamped using the BoHo Background set from Stampin Up in Always artichoke stamp pad.

Cased this card from Kathie McGuire and loved it, so hence this is my version of her card. I have used some of my older stamp stock for this card….one has to justify still having them and not being able to part with a single stamp I own.

Stamps : Hydranger by Posh Impressions and Happy Birthday by Raindrops.

Inks: Basic Black Pad, Old Olive, Lovely Lilac and Ballet Blue Marker Pens.

Card Stock: Watercolour paper, black, Lovely Lilac.

Embellishments: Black Organza Ribbon, Black brads, cuttlebug embossing folder, small and large oval punch, corner punch.
